Hi, I’m Chardonnay — a registered nurse and emerging Forensic Alchemist — a personal philosophy rooted in following evidence until complexity becomes understanding.
At the bedside, I learned that clarity could steady a shaking hand and calm a restless heart. A few honest words were often the difference between panic and peace. But nursing also taught me to look beyond the immediate problem. In every chart, every handoff, every unexpected outcome, I began to see patterns — stories that deserved to be understood, not just simply documented.
That curiosity has started taking me beyond the bedside. I’m exploring the place where medicine intersects with public health, healthcare systems, policy, forensics, and law — asking not only what happened, but why it happened, what the evidence tells us, and what we can learn from it.
Clarity & Case is where I work through those questions. Sometimes that means translating something patients encounter everyday. Sometimes it means looking behind the curtain at how healthcare actually works. And sometimes it means following a case, a system, or a piece of evidence wherever the questions lead.
I’m still learning. My interests are still evolving. I think that’s part of the point.
